I was really eager to show my knowledge past and present on the site. I wrote about things I discovered on the age of our world and about some of the craziness that was seeping into our culture because of the degradation of morality. What I had wanted was to have people throw in their support and/or others really eager to learn. I knew there would be haters but I hadn't realized how little support I'd get and how much opposition would flare up.
Plus I was going through a lot in my personal life. The foster care thing didn't work out the way we had expected it to, we had a new born baby to learn to take care of, work was stressing me out (as always) and money was really really tight for a while.
So instead of doing anything about it I let the site linger without use. Dust layered everything. Rodents and insects made their homes in places that intellegence once walked. The occasional heckler still visited the site to provide additional negativity but I had stopped caring.
But, as I said, I have had a lot going on in my personal life. Some good and some bad but all put together to lead me where God wants me to go. I veered off the path so often you would have thought the heavenly cops would have pulled me over for reckless endangerment (which if you think about it that's really what it was). But God stayed with me through all my stupidity and I am very grateful that he did.
And that is why I'm back. I realize now that if I'm to write it should be for God's glory, not my own. Just writing about Godly things does not make everything I do Godly. What I need is a place I can express what is going on with me, how that is affecting my walk with God and hopefully help others gain perspective on their own walk.
So I'm going to talk about my dreams, my son, my work, and my other relationships and then I'll talk about what God showed me in those situations. I'll encourage myself to remember all God has done for me and continues to do for me and through me.
I might write three times a day, three times a week or three times a month but I vow to continue to write. Not for your sake but for mine; because I need it. If you read what I write I think that is awesome. If you don't I refuse to let that upset me.
But, if you do, maybe along the way God will bless you too.
So I've revamped the look of the site, I've removed the mailing list (sorry if you were on it), I removed the site from search engines going forward and I've set all comments to full moderation. I'm sure my primary readers will probably be Facebook friends.
I did leave all past posts on here as I still value what I have written. If I write some of the same in the future it would be good to have these here for futher reference.
